Sorry to disappoint you but I actually started growing the garden while I was doing my taxes.

It was one of the things I did to help the whole procrastination process. It took me a long time to actually get through the tax forms but when I finished I had a garden, a small worm tank, clean bathroom, clean dishes (at the time), and a well vaccumed apartment.

Plus all my camera gear was cleaned, my hard drive was half backed up, I got caught up on the blogging, and somehow managed to shoot at various locations.BagelHothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025565613827004444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9860683.post-1148557998453581932006-05-25T07:53:00.000-04:002006-05-25T07:53:00.000-04:00Gee, and I thought you must be doing the gardening...Gee, and I thought you must be doing the gardening to impress some girl. :)

Things taste much better when you grow them yourself. Particularly tomatoes - they pick them so green to sell commercially that they are flavourless, home grown and vine ripened is so yum. Especially nice on toast with a bit of vegemite.theotherbearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12592106243268321644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9860683.post-1148494157906669062006-05-24T14:09:00.000-04:002006-05-24T14:09:00.000-04:00I suppose gardening is considered a solitary activ...I suppose gardening is considered a solitary activity. Although it doesn't have to be. It's like sharing the kitchen "What? You put what where?". Gardens can be very personal and private things.

"Hey there's that old lady that spends all her time by herself and the plants.".BagelHothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025565613827004444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9860683.post-1148489265992007562006-05-24T12:47:00.000-04:002006-05-24T12:47:00.000-04:00What is it about gardening that cranks people up? ...What is it about gardening that cranks people up? Well at least some people anyways. I could spend hours in the garden & be so happy so sit in the dirt watching all the greenery. Some have commented that I am a old & boring when I start talking about my gardening...I don't care so much as I think that those people never really tried gardening. Bagelhot was even nice enough to start some of my herbs in his window. Hopefully there will enough shoots to share with Bagelhot. How are they doing? Anything green inside my house gets attacted by Mr. Pumpkin or Mr. Napoleon (cats of unusual size).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9860683.post-1148403939271683752006-05-23T13:05:00.000-04:002006-05-23T13:05:00.000-04:00By kitchen garden I assume you mean growing food??...By kitchen garden I assume you mean growing food??? I have tomatos, beans, chives, lemon thyme, oregano, and rosemary.

The beans seem to be growing. No sign of the tomatos. The herbs seem to be surviving. I planted them as seen in the picture.BagelHothttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17025565613827004444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9860683.post-1148401887554559972006-05-23T12:31:00.000-04:002006-05-23T12:31:00.000-04:00Your little garden is shaping up nicely. If yes, what kind of plants are you growing? Our bing cherry tree is showing signs of a great harvest come August.Cupcakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12107285133616620470noreply@blogger.com
