Katie, the birthday girl
We have two people that feed us here on our show. Karen and Katie. They make up our craft service. Today was Katie's birthday and Karen wanted to have a secret surprise. The problem was where to have it where Katie wouldn't figure it out and also with our current director, would we have enough time to have a small party somewhere? Our current director is fast so our days are short and there's not a lot of time to do things behind behind the scenes.

Karen ended up sneaking two cakes into the wardrobe truck. Then the trick was to get Katie into the truck without arousing suspicion. In the end, Roberto one of the grips, called Katie saying Karen had an accident in the wardrobe truck. It was kind of lame and it took a bit more convincing than it should have. "Isn't there anyone helping her now? Why me?" said said. We almost had to drag her in.
