Today we went into the Bloor theatre to do a tech survey and some preliminary setting up for next weeks Darryl's Hard Liquor and Porn film festival. What kind of equipment they were running, how people would get on on off the stage and how we could bring more gear into the location should we need to, how to light the people on the stage, and how to communicate to one another using the in house system.

It was pretty cool being in a projection booth and seeing all the old film related gear lying around. Film splicers, winders, and wow, a copy of Superman Returns. The joys of lo-tech.
